2021 Waitākere Ranges Kauri Population Health Monitoring Survey
This report presents a new long-term kauri health monitoring framework, developed using an epidemiological approach to investigate kauri health.
Auckland Air Quality Report
Auckland Council continuously collects air quality data to assess compliance with national standards and provide information to aid policy development and evaluation. This report presents a monthly update on air quality in Auckland and covers data to 28 February 2022.
National Kai Impact Report
This report shares stories from around New Zealand that shows how local kai initiatives are contributing to a national movement that could transform how food is consumed in Aotearoa.
Schools' Carbon Footprint Pilot Project
Auckland Council’s Sustainable Schools team supported 10 Auckland schools to pilot a school carbon footprint calculator between June and November 2021. The New Zealand Council for Educational Research (NZCER) carried out research for Auckland Council, to build knowledge about how schools can use a school carbon footprint calculator, and what support, advice, and resources schools need to use it effectively.
Sustainable, healthy food choices
This report summarises outcomes from Auckland Council’s Sustainable, Healthy Food Choices Research and Development Project, a behavioural science study designed to encourage Aucklanders to consider increasing their plant-based food choices.
