Natural Environment Projects
From a natural hazard viewer to a Regional Pest Management plan. Below are natural environment projects that are currently in motion to protect our precious flora and fauna:
Hazard Viewer
Auckland is prone to many natural hazards including flooding and earthquakes. To prepare and keep Aucklanders safe, the Online Tool Hazard Viewer is a map that provides a spatial overview of hazards across the region.
Natural Environment Targeted Rate
Projects funded by the NETR help protect our natural environment and tackle the pests, weeds and diseases that threaten our native species.
Regional Pest Management Plan 2020-2030
Climate change will exacerbate a range of pest pressures on indigenous species (terrestrial, marine and freshwater) as well as primary production. Created under the Biosecurity Act, this plan contains rules and strategic direction for pest management across the region, to contribute to climate resilience.
Tiaki Tāmaki Makaurau
Conservation Auckland is an information hub of everything conversation and biosecurity related in Auckland.
